yeah I want one of these SOOOOO bad except I'm afraid I'd be mowed down like a bug on the back roads of ATL. I did go look at them over the weekend and found out that the factory that made the Stellas overseas is CLOSED now and they aren't making them any more. I quickly fell in love with an alternate scooter but couldn't justify dropping $1900 on a toy that I wouldn't feel comfortable riding to work every day (inclement weather, dangerous ATL drivers on some of the bigger roads, etc.). I would have L.O.V.E.D. it for tooling back and forth to the library, the grocery, etc.
But then, that goes to my whole new leaf of not buying "stuff" just to have stuff (even if I think it would be fun and I really really want it)... *sigh*
Environmental issues can largely be directly attributed to overly consumeristic attitudes.
Hence: "downsize everyone!"
I have to live it: one planet; one person at a time.
Weeellll....
You can't carry much "stuff" on a Stella (or Stella-ish thingy).
Heh. Atlanta traffic is scary no matter what you're drivin'.
